My wife and I did have a laugh though. Whenever we are in London we joke about the lack of rubbish bins... when she told me where some of the explosives were placed I asked her "how come we could never find them?"

Humour does have a time and place... keeps us sane sometimes.

Troll... I hop eyour employee is okay, she saw some pretty extreme images.

Yup, and it's good to know you basically have IRA under control now. I just hope you use mostly the same methods against this new enemy.

ps. My father was almost killed in an IRA bombing in the West End several years ago so I can imagine how many feel at the moment.

What bothers me is that the UK is pushing so hard to do some really good things for other countries and this happens.

I wish. The British way is now the American way. Hypocrisy.

I served in N. Ireland when I was in the military, it was a strange place. I grew to revile the Loyalist terrorists as much as the Republican ones.

If people think the actions of Al-Qaeeda are relegated to so-called backwards people, think again. N. Ireland Loyalists are just as evil. Two years ago Loyalists planted bombs outside an all-girls school in Belfast. They didn't go off, but think of the minds behind it.

G'luck all you londoners. You have a lot to look forward to, like people wrapping themselves in the flag, patriot acts, etc.

Seems Zone 1 is completely locked down now, nobody in or out. Colleagues in our central London office have been locked in.

My heart goes out to you guys.

But I have a sarcastic note to add. Remember to buy all those ribbon magnets. By giving money to some company in China, you're helping the troops fight a war in Iraq... or something like that.

Yes, biometric ID cards, illegally detaining people without charges or trials, and other draconian measures.

The similarity is that civilians in a leading democratic-based nation's city were targeted in an attack. The scales are completely different.

That makes no sense in regards to what you quoted from my message. The UK is also a so-called "leading democratic nation".

It's unfortunate that some people use this tragedy as a soap box for their political views.

I'm not saying you have to wrap yourself in a flag or go buy ribbons, but people died today in a senseless attack on innocent bystanders.

My heart goes out to people, friends and family of those injured in this attack.

Yeah, my president is an athlete who occasionally suffers an injury. I don't know an athlete (or even an active kid) who doesn't get an injury or have a similar mishap.

Does your leader do any intense or regular physical activity?

Don't think we are not sad for our losses, or inconsiderate. We deal with things here in the UK quite differently. If it's ok for our politicians to drag up fictitious excuses in condemning this attack, then why can't we?

Not all of us here separate everything in convenient categories that we blindly go along with. If we have a thought on this, we speak, and not give in to the sensibilities dictated by others.

This is a sad day, but we are not going to stand by and ignore the reality of why.

On the contrary, it only proves we went to War against the right enemy of freedom.

It's funny how the libbies defend a group of fundamentalist fascists who place women on par with dogs when it comes to respect. How do you defend the fact that spousal abuse is outrageous in Middle Eastern Countries and Islam? They want us all to die in the west, and we are taking the fight to them. I'd rather we splatter their guts and brains all over the Middle East rather than worry about when the next attack will come.

Thank goodness Mi6 have a heart. Percussion grenades are relatively harmless. Other security forces could have done a lot more damage.

Our gas costs $2.39 per gallon and up, yeah, free oil. We've gained no oil in this.
We took the fight to Al Queda (Retards) in Afghanistan, and have many in Gitmo whom we are "Questioning". Most of them roll like the cowards they are, and give a great deal of information.

- Mass Graves
- Dead Kurds (WMD)
- Buried Mobile Laboratories

Drink less coffee please. You seem to have problems handling it.

So, spousal abuse is outrageous in 1) ME and 2) Islam? Now I await your links for both of those claims.

Who are they? And what do you have that proves that "they" all want us to die?

I don't see how my response is idiotic. I said gluck dealing with it, and letting them know they're going to have a bunch of insane bills passed for 'safety' that go against the very things their country was built on. I think you're in love with me.

Looks like there are 40 dead. 10 on the bus, and 30 between the 3 tube explosions, 21 at one in particular.

The 10 on the bus haven't been confirmed but an eye-witness report from a doctor said 10 dead, 9 injured on the bus.

The rest were just confirmed by the Metropolitan Police.

Such a heinous and cowardly act. My prayers are with the victims and their families. Just hope that all our British members are alright.

How are he oil companies profits doing these days?
We took the fight to Al Queda (Retards) in Afghanistan,
Before you start calling people retards you should try to make sure you spell their names(or the organisation) correctly. It's Al Qaida(or Al Qaeda). And yes, I agreed with the war in Afghanistan.
and have many in Gitmo whom we are "Questioning".
You're right. You have many in Gitmo that you are "questioning". Problem is that not many of them are Al Qaida operatives and the questioning isn't doing you much good.
Most of them roll like the cowards they are, and give a great deal of information.
Can you name one example of information coming out of GTMO? Two? Three?
- Mass Graves
Didn't seem to bother your government when the bodies were being piled up.
- Dead Kurds (WMD)
The ironic thing is that the helicopters used were from America. Oh, and the US blocked votes to condemn the attacks on the Kurds. Oh, and lets not forget. The US tried to blame the most horrific attack on the Kurds on Iran. Oh, one more thing. The US still hasn't forced Turkey to stop their horrific treatment of the Kurds. That should be enough for now on this "point"
- Buried Mobile Laboratories
From where do you get this "buried mobile laboratories"?? First of all, if it's buried it's not mobile. Second, the mobile laboratories were found to be of nothing but innocent civilian use.
Sure, sure, you keep your head in the sand.
My friend. It's you that has your head in the sand.
