Hey all, perhaps one of you can help me.
I got home today, and my iBook started acting strange. It does one of three things:
1. It will work perfectly fine until randomly freezing - not beachball freezing, not KP freezing, but the screen will simply freeze and the iBook will stop being responsive. One time, there was a transparent black square that appeared when it froze.
2. It will give me text on startup. Example:

Backtrace:
backtrace terminated - unaligned fram address: 0xFC14FC21
kmod scan stopped due to missing kmod page: 00000000
Proceeding back via exception chain:
3. On startup, it will make a low-pitched beep three times, and then the sleep light near the latch button will flash.
Does anyone know waht this might be?
On top of that, both my internet and phone lies have been going out very frequently today, so it's not been the best day. :/

That looks like a kernel panic. Where is that text displayed? After you log into your account, or during the startup itself?

have you run the disk utilities that came with your mac? It will test it. The three beeps may have something to do with the memory. Have you upgraded it lately? Maybe take it out and reseat it.

I would run Disk Utility, if my computer would start.
And yes, I know it's a KP. And I'm thinking it's my logicboard.

Can you start up in safe mode? Hold down shift on startup.
Also take out any extra ram you have installed and see if you can start up.
