So tomorrow I'm flying from Atlanta to Frankfurt, and I'm going to have a LOT of time to kill on that airplane. I've got a GBA from about a year ago, and I want to buy some new games for it to keep me busy during my flight. What are some of the best games for it? Donkey Kong looks good, but that's about the only one I've seen.

Advance Wars or Advance Wars 2 - easy to learn, but very addictive turn based strategy game. Even if you aren't a strategy game fan, you'll probably love the game.
Any of the Castlevania games - classic sidescrolling action, all similar to the best CV game, SOTN on the PSX.
Metroid Fusion - new game similar to the SNES version.
Any of the SNES ports - my favs being Links Awakening, and Yoshi's Island.
Wario Ware - crazy mini games, extremely addicting and tons of replay value.

Final Fantasy Tactics is very fun, I'll also vouch for Metroid and Advance Wars. I think the best game I've played on the system is Legend of Zelda.

Yes, the original cart with the good music.
If you are into strategy... do eeny-miney-mo over Advance Wars 2 and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Both will keep you happy for months.
If you like platformers, dont forget all the mario ports
of course there is Zelda and Metroid, both of which are very safe titles that you know you will enjoy.
Mario Kart is damn fun as well
But since you asked for the best games... Look to see what all the reviews say...

I hereby nominate advance wars. It's the first gb game I really took seriously. Plus it reminds me a bit of Risk, one of my all time favorite games.

I feel exactly the same. It wove its magic on me that way, too.

Final Fantasy Adventure, which is getting a remake soon.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (make sure you get the DX version) is pretty damn good too.
Can't say much about GBA games since I remembered that I hate little screens before the GBA came out.
