On the back of last weeks announcement of the 'Flashback trojan'
I read today it appears to be back, or no ?
BBC News is currently carrying this story
Apple develops tool to 'detect and remove' Flashback Trojan
the article l inks to
which suggests downloading this
Something odd happened after I downloaded the app
I found I had 3 files on the desktop I double clicked one the of zip files
and it uncompressed to an applescript applet
but I'm hesitant about proceeding until I've heard from
others who are more experienced
especially in the light of
2 of the 3 appeared superfluous to my needs
but my mac says they can't be deleted, nor can I get 'Get Info' of them either
So is today's BBC story a new outbreak of this nasty Trojan or not ?

Thank you MacNNUK, I'm aware of this software. I used it for a while after which it gave me the pip since it kept on popping up with messages.
All I would really like to do for the moment is trash those Flashback Removal files, but the OSX alerts me with these items 'Can't be trashed" I am unable to move them and its really annoying me. So is there some other higher command I can invoke to rid these blighters ?
Apparently Apple is working on those nasty trojans as is reported here.

Eureka thank you kindly MacNNUK, thank you for clearing that up.
The App worked flawlessly.
As an interesting aside, the Redmond site clearly shows most make users sticking with OSX.6, and I thought I was in the minority !
