That "Only" video is indeed bad a$s.

And it looks like a 15" to me (based on the number of slots in the latch area visible in the downloads).

This is my Powerbook Setup, although I locate the laptops in various spots in my bedroom. The 12 inch is a 1Ghz PB (60GB, 640MB RAM, SuperD), and I use it the most. The 17 inch is a 1.67 Ghz (100GB, 2GB RAM, SuperD). I also keep a Samsung X30 Centrino PC just in case I need it for a Windows-only App, it was imported from Japan. In the back is my 42 inch Panasonic Plasma hooked to my MDG (Its a Canadian computer maker) PC. Im currently 17 and among the younger generation of Mac users. I just applied for a position at The Apple Store (hopefully I get it). I also included 2 of my current cellphones-The RAZR and Sidekick 2. Just BTW, I earned all these gadgets from working my ass off for the last 9 years, so my parents dont spoil me : )

Im currently looking into buying a new desk; I live in Toronto, so does anyone know where to get a contemporary desk (glass) in Toronto for a decent price (max-$200).

I was in a similar place at 17, working as a web designer for a dot com making more money than I knew what to do with (but I found things ). I would advise you guys to save a couple thousand for a rainy day, and not spend everything you make. Will probably come in handy one day.

Here's mine:

15" Aluminum Powerbook on an iCurve, 17" Dell LCD (with analog/DVI inputs and USB ports), HP All-in-One printer/scanner/copier, and a homebuilt PC. (That I rarely use except for the occasional game.)

I've got an old iMac too but I'm putting that in my classroom once school starts for my students to use.

Let's see some Pismo's in action, seeing as they seem to be all the rave in the poll thread. All the fuss seems to get me thinking about finding one as a second notebook just to see for myself.

Yeah, the left one is a Lian-Li, and it rocks. The one on the right is a coolermaster. Both were kind of expensive, but worth it. Most PC cases suck, it's hard to find decently designed ones.

Looks like someone shops at Illuminations. Your home office looks nicer than at least 90% of all offices i've ever seen. Everything looks like it's supposed to be together.

iRez, you may not realize this, but you are a genius and just gave me an idea from one of your posted pics. I too have a 12" Powerbook on an icurve except mine is facing forward and I have a hard time swapping discs in and out because I have the notebook between two monitors. (the only space available on my desk) What your pic shows me is that I can just turn the icurve sideways and have the disk drive facing me (for easy access) and still have all the ports facing the back where I will likely need them.
It may not look as neat, but it is more practical for my needs. Thanks.

Hi,

That Dell is the 24" 2405FPW. The powerbook you see below it is the 17".

Milien,

I have been considering a new 12" PB and a 20" Apple Display. How is the performance? and... Do you find the fan runs a lot when using the external monitor?

I have a Rev A 12" PB now and I've run a 19" CRT (Viewsonic) of it, but the fan goes crazy.

Thanks so much,

Brian

Brian,

I do hear the fans going when I am doing something graphic intensive at times but nothing that bothers me too much. As for performance, I haven't ran into any issues but then again the Graphics Card is 64MB and I think the rev. a & b are 32 MB.

To add to that, interestingly enough I don't hear the fans as much when it's connected to my 23" ACD at the office compared to the 20" ACD.
