Check out the Google Chrome Laptop here

Its has been out for about 2 days after it was official unveiled and are at to doorsteps of limited few. Chrome OS will not be available as a download to run and install. Instead, the operating system will only ship on specific hardware from Google's manufacturing partners. The user takes a minimal approach, much like that of the Chrome browser. because the only application on the device will a browser incorporating a media player, Google's Chrome OS is aimed at users who spend most of their computer time on the internet.

Anyways, what do you guys think about Chrome OS and Cr48?

Interesting concept, a total dumb terminal concept. Bill Gates envisioned that as the future back in the early 90. Oddly folks seemed to want to retain some control of their personal computing destiny. ThaT is not to say now is not the time to surrender and let big brother decide what is best for you.

still it is gooogle and gooogle sucks
Id rather have another hemorrhoid

I think this might be the sign of things to come, particularly in businesses... I'm interested in seeing how virtualization clusters might play into this in providing computing power to terminals like this so all they are are basically screens with keyboards, and local RAM and CPU are complete non-issues.
