With iPhoto 06, when i plugged my iPhone in it would work with out a problem.

Well last night iPhoto 08 stopped auto-opening when I plugged in my iPhone. I did some prodding around and after resetting the "perform when connected" command in Image capture it would automatically open...for an hour or so.

After taking some more pictures of a baseball game I was at, and some other events Image capture no longer would recognize the iPhone and neither would iPhoto. Infact the only way i could get these photos to upload was to restart my Mac.

I believe this to be an iPhoto problem, since I never had this issue w/ iPhoto06, but thought i'd pass it on anyway to see if anyone else has had this issue.

I just tried it right after I read your post and it showed up fine for me. Do you have all the latest updates? Also do you have the open when camera option set under the iPhoto preferences?
