I just got this error when exporting a small movie from iMovie. I restarted, repaired permissions and nothing helped. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.8ghz i7 with 8GB of ram. I have over 500GB in free hard drive space (out of 750). I've never encountered this before.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Weird. Make sure everything is up to date (OS, iMovie). You could also try reinstalling iMovie.

I just updated everything. There's no reason why this should be happening. I did a search and others are having this problem in iMovie '11. Just looking for a fix.

I've cut many videos over a couple of gigs in the past with no issue. This should be less than 200mb.
