Whoa, I didn't process that right away. The rider went under the trailer. Arms and legs all still attached. Impressive.

It's refreshing to see workers with proper safety gear. If that were 3rd world, the boys would have tumbled down. As it is, he didn't even drop the cutting torch.

They were cutting off the tray, and had a guide rope on the right side. Probably placed there when they cut the right side. Someone forgot to add another when they moved on to the left side.

“No pitch”
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_pitch
A no pitch is a pitch in baseball that is ruled to be not a ball, a strike or a balk.[1]

There are various reasons an umpire would rule a no pitch. If the umpire is not in a ready position to call a ball or strike, he may call a no pitch. Also, if the umpire believes the batter is not ready, or if the batter is not in the batter's box, he may rule a no pitch. If an umpire (not necessarily the home plate umpire) calls time while a pitch is being delivered, a no pitch is usually called.

One of the most famous no pitch calls was when ten-time All-Star Randy Johnson hit a bird with a pitch. The ball was near the plate when it hit a flying bird. After the pitch hit the bird, the ball was ruled dead. The bird was also ruled dead. In fact, this no pitch call is so well known that there are more Google search results for "Randy Johnson bird" than there are for "Randy Johnson baseball."[2]

Checking frame-by-frame, he went over the front car. Landed to its right, near the front-right fender. The overtaking car is just that - long shadows suggested a truck. But it's just a car.

He got popped up and over, not sandwiched. So no gore.

Driver apparently slammed on the gas instead of the brake. One guess as to whether they were over 80.

Also note what looks like an exploding Samsung.

I feel the woman in front of cell phone man was the luckiest. She had no clue, didn't move and managed to get away with it by millimetres.

The point was made that if you forget to put on your seatbelt, the ****er beeps at you until you remember.

As for Storrowing, now it’s my turn for a flashback to being 18. My dorm was on Commonwealth and Babcock.

Probably the most important part of my education that year was learning, after a bunch of us got high and snuck into Nickerson Field, that what are essentially fully grown adults shouldn’t play ren-rover.

I knew I liked you for a reason. I was nearby in the heart of the crime-free Fenway. Never snuck onto Nickerson Field though.

I did paint the comm ave bridge, once or twice. Mostly sober.

It’s like they wanted you to sneak in.

Right next to the gate was a wall of “breeze blocks”.

In other words, a wall made of secure handholds and footholds.

My most vivid Comm Ave bridge memory is carrying a passed out girl piggyback to her dorm after the conscious girl I was with got suddenly freaked by our cabbie.

Our dorms were surrounded by iron gates that were locked at 11pm. I scaled it once because I was too lazy to go all the way to the security desk (and maybe to prove I could). Once was enough. It was pointy.

I was there the first year guests couldn’t stay past 11.

People cried bloody murder, though I’m sure we were still in the Wild West compared to what it has to be now.

didn't see that, was so busy watching the power lines.

Don't chainsaws have a failsafe? If you aren't gripping it's supposed to stop?
