"gets grate gas milage"

Wonder what his favourite cap is. Probably something to do with fishing bait.

32mpg out of an Aspire is terrible. He should see at least 40-45mpg.

Love how the seats are about an inch apart. That thing looks uncomfortable as hell.

I love how the seats have covers over them that are supposed to make them look like buckets.

Needs front end work cv joint ball joint tires and a rim runs good a/c heat 5 speed 4cylinder gets grate gas milage like 32 mpg has a wing / spoiler its adjustable glass pack tuner tip blacked out tail lights new battery and tags are out title is clear and ready for sale call (number)
Damn.

This guy needs a few crash courses, stat. Like in how to use the comma and period keys on his keyboard. And in what a sentence is. I honestly don’t understand more than about half of that, the rest of it is just words strung randomly together. I don’t know where to separate the words/sentences. How many sentences does “Its adjustable glass pack tuner tip blacked out tail lights new battery and tags are out” contain, for example?

Of course we still have illiterates and dyslexics too.

But usually, with most illiterates/dyslexics who give writing down things a shot, you can figure out what’s being said, even if it is a bit harder to read; if all else fails, reading it out loud usually gives the necessary clues. This guy, though … maybe it’s just ’cause it’s all technical stuff (and I know squat-all about cars to begin with), so there are fewer verbs and regular sentence markers, but even with careful scrutiny and repeated attempts at saying this out loud, I’m none the wiser about what he’s trying to say.

I’m not convinced though, that illiteracy explains all the poor writing we see on the net. It seems like there is an element in our modern culture that values mental laziness. It’s not cool to communicate properly anymore.

Absolutely. But that’s a whole ’nother kettle of fish. This one here seems to go far beyond just laziness.

Using "but" to start off a sentence is generally frowned upon, at least in formal writing. Additionally, there should be a comma after "but."

Using a conjunction to start a sentence is only frowned upon by people who believe the myths Elizabethan grammarians made up; it’s right up there with split infinitives and dangling prepositions. And since ‘but’ is a conjunction, it should never be followed by a comma, unless you introduce a parenthetical clause, for example. ‘However’ should be followed by a comma, but that’s because it’s a sentence adverb rather than a conjunction, and it is therefore by definition disjunct.

And, since ‘and’ is a conjunction, it could be followed by a comma if you introduce a parenthetical clause, for example.

I was taught NEVER to begin a sentence with "however" when writing papers.

Not because it's wrong, but because it's terrible style.

I suppose someone might have wanted it for its spare parts.

Or perhaps he came across this thread and deleted the listing in embarrassment.

Mods should know better than just link to a[n incredibly] time sensitive page. :/

Try to get a screenshot with an app like paparazzi next time.

Please.

Sir.

I didn't mean to sass a mod.

Honest.
