I don't know how true this is, but when I cancelled my original XBL subscription, the guy on the phone for MS, told me that Halo 1.5 is coming out soon.. 1.5 will add Live to the first halo, as well as a bunch of new multiplayer maps..

That guy was lying. We are already on XBox live "2.0", and XBL "3.0" is coming soon.

There will also never be any Halo 1.5, Halo 2 will bring XBox Live to the Halo universe, nothing else. Bungie has stated this.

Nope, I own it. However, I got sucked into the new Baldur's Gate and now UT2K4 so I haven't been playing PGR2 much.

Good game last night Nugget btw - who were those scots guys whose party we crashed ? Anyway, three round burst assault rifle is awesome - triple kill from the far side of the map, yay !

I'll probably join a clan with a bigger UK membership, so there's at least a chance of playing at the same time as someone else

I'm not sure if you can just join a clan or need to be invited. They scott guys are friends of DeathBob I believe, I kinda gate crashed them too!

I think im pretty good. I've only played 5 hours at most so my stats aren't the greatest yet.

You can create your own clan easily enough or be invited into an established clan.
Its a shame but you can only be in one clan at a time.

I have played live from the beta days and i find Halo2 becoming one of the most frustrating xbox live games ever. Playing accross the Big Pond in other games can show more of the obvious lag problems eg players appearing bouncing all over the map, appearing and disappearing etc. Halo2 masks a lot more of this to appear smoother, but can make you total cannon fodder, esp. in close combat. Sometimes the americans seem bulletproof, I even managed to walk up behind one and throw a plasma grenade onto them - it bounced off!!!
Also it is badly missing the regular live optimatch and lists of games and servers.

Zero clanmatch games, and I think I've played about 1 game with Angrynugget. C'mon guys, lets get this movin' !

I've set up a Group over at Bungie where the clan can create forums and talk tactics, etc. Ha ! how about 'lets actually play a game sometime' for starters....
