I'm just curious how people here store their CDs. I'm about to rip my collection (about 100 CDs) to lossless and don't plan on needing to play the physical discs much after that, so buying lots of shelving just seems like a waste (and I don't have a lot of floorspace to begin with). I'm thinking about getting a few of these. What do other people do?

I put mine on a cd binder I got at officemax. It can hold 250 cd's, easy storage.

For the CD's that I may use someday, but the ones that I don't plan to use for a while, I just put them on a spindle that came with blank CD-rs.
A spindle will hold 100 disks in a small, compact area.

Get some wall mounted IKEA shelve or something. Storing 100 CDs doesn't really require to buy "lot's of shelves" it's not really that much.

likewise. all my music is played through airTunes. i keep all my cd's in lots of binders, with the covers in boxes. that way i can still access the original if the need arises.
