Not quite.
After Snow Leopard, all my email when called up appear with LONG headers, not the usual short ones.
Some of these can be very long...
I dont know how it happened, but I want the usual SHORT addresses to appear.
There MUST be a way to change them back.
Thanks for your suggestion, but it is not what I was looking for.
Just a way for me to change back to short addresses.
Greg

Can you provide us with an example of what you mean? The instructions above are for toggling between full and normal headers, which was a reasonable guess at what you mean...

It sounds like post-SL his message views default to showing long headers. Greg, have you tried deleting Mail's plist?

@Tetenal and others. If you try to toggle between Long Headers and default (short) headers in Snow Leopard's Mail.app, you will notice that this does not work. This seems to be a bug. Once you have long headers, you can press shift + cmd + h as much as you want, but nothing happens.
I hope they'll fix it soon!

Indeed, it's working here too.
Try installing the 10.6.1 combo update.

AFAIK, there is no 10.6.1 combo update. What would it be combined with? 10.6.1's the only OS update we've had so far for Snow Leopard.
