I thought from all the many complaint threads about Stacks there would be more responses than this to this guy's app. Maybe everyone secretly loves Stacks. Anyway, it don't bother me, I'm still a lowly Tiger man.

Do any of these hacks include the ability to drag-n-drop stuff
onto the "folder" icon in the dock, and have those items copied
(or moved) to that folder? Docked folders in Tiger weren't *only*
about hierarchical menus.

I did too until I realized that this is an online forum, most of which is wrapped up in complaining so naturally people are gonna skim right past this bundle of joy so they can continue to complain about something

Ha ha, too true swiz. There should be a new rule: for every post complaining you have to post something positive too.
To Hal: I think he is working on that. But isn't the Finder icon in Leopard now springloaded? I think that is more powerful, I'm really looking forward to that when I upgrade.

I've been trying it out for a few days but have noticed some erratic behavior when trying to reveal the folder itself in the Finder.
But I do like the menu, even if it is a little slow.

It doesn't work at all for me. When I click on Quay's items, it pops up a small white rectangle that is probably supposed to be the start of a menu for just a second, and then the rectangle vanishes. Option clicking does nothing. But it is a beta, so hey.
