My Mac Mini booted fine into Target Disk mode... well, the Firewire symbol shows up on the screen like normal... but when I connect it to my other Macs (via Firewire cable, of course), they never see a disk show up. Any ideas?
(I'm wanting to migrate my accounts from a Mac Mini to a PowerBook... so I'm kinda stuck.)

Sorry, never mind... I just needed to wait about 5 minutes and it finally showed up as a disk. The installer just didn't wait long enough.

It's strange that it takes five minutes to show up.
Usually once it displays the FW logo, its disk is available. It shouldn't take another Mac five minutes just to mount the partition.

I'd certainly try another cable on this setup. The target disk machine should show up in a few seconds, not several minutes.
