"Hmm, finger-grease licking good!"

In my appartement, ants prefer to climb on my leg while I'm at the computer, while spiders dare crawling between my keyboard and my iMac, as I wouldn't see them For that reason, I always keep a can of compressed air at arm's reach: it's more effective to freeze them than to try to hunt them down. Plus, I guess it's less suffering for them to die that way.

If you never tried this, hold the can upside down and press the trigger slightly, so only a little amount of air comes out, and after a few seconds, you'll see drips falling down, which will freeze most living things on contact. Don't overdo it on human skin, as it can cause freezing-burns, but it's always a good laugh to spray the armrest of an unsuspecting victim, just before he returns to his desk: there's no sign that anything happened, and he will be surprised as hell when he sits down!!

Plus, for insects lover, it allows you to get a close view to bugs because it kills them without deforming them as when you hit them (useful for identifying them!)..

When I was mowing the lawn last weekend, I ran over at least 5 big ant hills.

Ants are where they are for a reason.

If you have ants in your house it's because of them having access to food or water (yes, some ants seek out water).

If you have ants that live under and around wood and debris then it's because you have rotting wood that they want to eat (carpenter ants).

If you have fire ants...well, I guess those are the only malicious ants because there really is no reason for fire ants and they're horrible.

Fire ants and wasps. When I sees 'em, I kill 'em dead.
