Can anyone suggest a good, functional, cool journal to use on Jaguar? I've been looking for some time now but cannot find a single one that I like. One would think there might be a market for this stuff. Thanks!

I personally would like some software that will get me excited. But, most of the ones like MacJournal do not impress me. All they have is a textEdit box with an adjoining list, and some encryption stuff. This really does not excite me. There are no intuitive way to add themes, adding graphics, etc. If you find one, please post it here.

What, precisely, would you like a piece of journal software to be able to do?
Cheers

Take a look at Jotz -- it's not specifically designed to keep a journal, but would work quite well in that regard, IMHO. Entries are date-stamped, and can include graphics and rich text. The program also has a great search engine and a number of other cool features.

learn html and make your own journal--or in the parlance of the interweb--your own "blog."
(that's "weblog" for all you soccer fans)

Very theme-oriented application, no? And they even host your "mood stats" on their site, right?

They host an XML file containing your stats on their servers as well as on your drive, if one gets hosed, the other is just copied in to replace it. Cool application, its fun to see your statistics form a neat pattern in the line graphs after about a year, or even a few months.
