So. i have lost my iphone 3g. i have recovered the data.syncdb file from my computer. this has my contacts in it.

how can i view it? how can i get my contacts?

any help would be great!

running windows 7 x4 ultimate.

I googled around a little. I think it's a proprietary format. You could of course restore it to a replacement iPhone, but I suspect this isn't what you had in mind. Some suggestions said the file may be SQL Lite, but I couldn't confirm that.

That sounds like the same file as your text messages are stored in. I think I read that mysql or something similar could open it...
