I went to launch Unreal Tournement 2004 Demo last night and noticed just before the screen switchover to the UT2004 that I got a crash report on my desktop.

So I quit UT2004 and saw that the iSightAudioAssistant crashed. This was happening before and when I installed 10.3.6 combo update it went away. So I tried it again, and this time it didn't cure it.

For those "in the know" on technical matters ... here is the content of the crash log. Any help will be most appreciated...

just found out from an Apple tech that doing the 10.3.6 again will accomplish nothing since it's already installed the installer will disregard a lot of the install items.

I have to do an archive and install.

I seem to recall that the UT2004 demo doesn't work correctly if an iSight is plugged in to the machine. Unplug the iSight and run the demo... should work.

Has something to do with the audio input feature for team play. This was fixed via patch for the retail release.

Actually, this UT2004 Demo has wreaked havoc on my isight so badly, that I'd sooner just avoid it, and maybe down the road I'll but the retail version. For now, I removed anything to do with UT on all of my drives.
