Does iphone's web browser have "bookmarks"? A list of favorite pages? How would I use it? (I don't have an iphone)

Yes, it has bookmarks. Every page has bookmark icon (looks just like the one in regular Safari) to access your lists of bookmarks. You can add, delete, and arrange bookmarks to heart's content (just like regular Safari).

Note that every browser page also has a + sign that gives you three choices: add a bookmark to you Bookmark list, add a bookmark to your home screen (so you can access it directly), and send the current page's link to someone via email.
