Yah... I might be the only one but ever since I saw Automator I've felt like "That's a really sweet icon... I wouldn't care if the app didn't even do anything I'd still keep that in my dock!" I actually just made an icon for Cyberduck that's kinda like a duck version of the automator icon... mainly because I just think it's an awesome little icon!

So... since I'm really bored tonight... why don't we come up with a name for the automator guy...

By the way anyone else think Apple should add commonly used App names into the spell check like... you know I just tried to find an example... and most of the ones I thought up are in the spell check... but I'd swear they weren't at one point...

I believe he already has a name "Otto". See the "Explore Automator" box.

Oh, I thought his name would be "Automator". So Automator must be his last name.
His name is Otto Automator.

I would have said Marvin as well but Otto is good. Reminds me of Kevin Kline in A Fish Called Wanda. "Otto, it's Italian for eight."

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

I was thinking of Straightener. Sort of the opposite of Bender. Gotta love Futurama. I was going to change the icon to one of Bender, but have not found a decent one yet. Has anyone else?

His name is Otto Automator.
More likely to be Matic (as in Otto Matic) but I guess Pangea already have a TM on that one.

'My name is Ot-to, I like to get blot-to.'

I can't believe two people beat me to Marvin...

Is he related to Stabat Mater?
"You rise," he said, "like Aurora."

He should be called Dan, as in Dan "The Automator" Nakamura.

It's not-- "Otto" is a terrible name for a terrible icon (nevermind I use it in my masthead ). I liked it better when Automator was called Pipeline and had a dominoes icon.
