Don't mean to be a noodge , but what's the ETA on Kromo?

And who, exactly, is making it? I'm confused.

To dislike Sinatra is a sign of highly questionable taste. To dislike the Beatles is a serious character flaw.

If I understand correctly, bigblackafrica would be looking for a launcher utility.
If so, you can search for things like Butler, F10, QuickSilver etc. on this forum but also on VersionTracker…

Oh yes Gerrit you are right. I was half asleep when I responded I did not read it correctly. Those are all good programs and will allow you quick access without keeping things in your dock.

Thanks sweetymac. Oh, I knew what I was missing. Had a mac friend who kept rubbing it in everytime Apple introduced a new design. But it was a matter of economics. Let's see, should I spend $400 for a pentium or $1000 on a mac? $400 vs $1000? After doin' the math I was left to drool n' throw drama queen fits for several years before I finally said "eh budget schmudget." Actually, that's what got me into customizing in the first place - had to do sumptin' with the ol' clunky fugly gray pc. I still use windows from time to time. It's really good to know how each system functions, their similarities, and differences.

hey bigba, check out sweetymac's guide to customization (click on her sig)... the one i downloaded and installed from her guide is the Himmelbar. it's free, easily customized n' you a get a pretty little cloud icon on your menu bar. have not tried F10 or Butler (bowler hat icon).

Very pretty I love pink and girly. This wallpaper is really cool, I like it! The snapshooter frame I used is in that package by "Bloomp Design" that Gerrit posted, That really is a great package. Also there is a bunch here:
http://www.macthemesforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=117
Like you I also like himmelbar, it is just nice and simple, I use butler sometimes but mostly himmelbar.
*edit* I'm so silly I thought you meant my snapshooter frame , my preview icon is from here:
http://mikecosentino.com/mdcstuff/ar...igns/index.php
Lots of cute preview icons there, click on the ones you like then when it takes you to dl control click you might have to use pic2icon to view them, if it doesn't work let me know I will send them to you.

I'm obviously not over my former desktop setup yet, but this Fearqu - I just couldn't resist people… Only minor tweaking and some Mail buttons added for my own use, and here it goes - enjoy.
