At work our ADSL connection is very poor and often drops and comes back. When it drops we get an error page from our ISP, which is all well and good, but once you've tried to visit a site and get the error instead, Safari carries on displaying that screen even when the connection comes back up. Clearing the cache and history and quitting doesn't help, you just have to wait ages before Safari will admit the connection is back. Is there any way round this? It started with Leopard, and I'm bang up to date running 10.5.2 and Safari 3.1 etc.

Any ideas? (Apart from changing browser!)
