Seemed like a very low-key movie, with a title that would seem geared to pro-wrestling fans. I heard about it when it was nominated for some awards, but quickly forgot about it.
Watched it a few days ago, and was blown away by the depth of the movie. It wasn't what i was expecting at all. From a technical standpoint it came together very very well.... acting, cinematography, directing, lighting, script, sets, etc... but more importantly it came together artistically, evoking some serious emotions. The acting was amazing, Rourke has definitely won my respect with his performance.
I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys storytelling and drama. Definitely gets a two thumbs up from me.
