Aside from my own DVD that will not play in ANYTHING but a REAL DVD player it's been fine. My problems are the small size, screen rez, and that it's not my tower powering it

*chuckle* to answer your question DaKiwi, no, when we met I was as bigoted a windows user as they came! We lived in the same dorm at school, though.

And as for my wonderdeful computer, only gripe is my wake from sleep bug, the logic board that had to be replaced 5 days out of the box, and the fact I'd like a bit more screen res. Really, it's awesome, though, and i wouldn't give it up for the world (unless someone offered me a tower and a cinema display!! )
The short shall inherit the earth. Just you wait. You won't see us coming. We'll pop out from under tables, beds, and closets in hordes. So you're tall, huh? You won't be so tall when I chew off your ankles. Mofo

No, painting it is ugly too, one should stealth it to match the aluminum case.

Of course, had I had the time to do it I would have done it a long time ago!

FWIW, MiniMe was put together for a total of less than $500 so did not cost that much $.

Hehe... Nah, i built it over a long period of time, and i'm trying to experiment to see just how indispensible i am anyway. The fellow engineers at work love it (although they offered suggestions to improve the structural integrity) and management sorta smiles and nods, warily. Works for me

i'll take a guess

1 - 12 monkeys (terry gilliam)
2 - seven (david fincher)
3 - scarface (i forget)
4 - apocalypse now (francis ford coppolla)
5 - taxi driver (scorsese)
6 - casino (scorsese)
7 - blair witch project (i forget)
8 - i don't know. a larger than life tool video?
9 - clockwork orange (kubrick)
10 - usual suspects (bryan singer)
11 - fight club (david fincher)
12 - silence of the lambs (demme. i always get jonathon and ted mixed up though. even though one of them is dead now)

guess i don't get the 5 bucks. but do i at least get credit for getting most of the directors without imbd?

The Color Classics are hacks...running 8.1 with an 040. I use one as a PIM (wireless keyboard) and one (and the old pizza box) run two X-10 systems. I have them running QuickTime artshows as screensavers and the clocks are just BlackWatch.
