Well, there has been nothing in the Washington Post about this and it would certainly come up seeing as how Walter Reed has been in the news all week because the BRAC* decided this week to close it and transfer its functions elsewhere in the DC area. I have driven by there twice in the past five days and have seen no protestors but that could just be my timing. Plus, I've been driving down the back (Georgia Avenue) side of the place.

So, does anyone have any confirmation of this story? It sounds horrible but I just find it really hard to believe it is happening.
