I just picked up the XTi today; thanks for all the lens reviews. I'm really enjoying it so far.

I have picked up a Canon 200 mm f/2.8L EF lens for this camera. It cost as much as the camera, but it's worth it.

Nice speed on it; do you find a walking lens of 35 or 50 to be better? I used to use 50mm with a traditional 35mm, but I'm not sure with the smaller sensor in this baby.

For family get togethers and casual photography I prefer the 30 mm because the crop factor of the smaller sensor makes it a 48 mm. The 50 mm is nice for portraits or for a little further away because it amounts to a 80 mm.
