In apps like those from Adobe, you can save your workspace within that app so you can have a layout when switching between 3 monitors or 1 in a laptop. I'm looking for something like that for the OS as a whole.
I have two 24" monitors on the side of my 15" MBP, and when I connect, I would love for Apple Mail to fill the left half of the left monitor, iTunes to fill the lower right of the left monitor and BusyCal to fill the upper right of the right monitor. With HyperDock, I can snap the windows to these edges (maybe Sierra has something similar), but basically when I re-connect the monitors, everything stays on my laptop display where the menu bar is located in Arrangement. Is anyone aware of a tool that can do this? Thanks!
