Every day, alongside our regular Daily Deals post, we are showcasing some of the offers available on our own MacNN Deals page. Today's group are all devices to help you become more organized by going paperless, with two document scanners with Wi-Fi connectivity on offer, alongside an item that provides a cloud storage-style service for your local network.

Our first item is the Doxie Go Wi-Fi Scanner from Apparent. This scanner can make images from business cards up to legal-sized pages at eight seconds per page. Capable of scanning 300 pages per charge, and holding up to 450 documents on its internal storage with optional SD card expansion, it can connect to a local network over Wi-Fi and transfer scans to cloud storage, for later retrieval through mobile apps. Originally $230, it is down to $175 with free shipping included, for the next six days.

The second scanner on offer today is the IRIScan Book 3 Executive Portable Scanner. Able to scan books and magazines as well as sheets of paper, the device can scan a page in two seconds in black and white or four seconds in color, with 300, 600, and 900dpi resolution options available. Files can be transferred over Wi-Fi to a nearby device, or to cloud storage, with resulting images saved as JPG files or PDFs. Ending tonight, this scanner is selling for just $89, discounted from $129, with free shipping.

Lastly, the Lima is network-based storage that mimics cloud storage services. Running on a local network and using your selection of external hard drive, files can be saved to the device and can be accessed by others on the network, from desktops and mobile devices. Files such as videos and images will synchronize between devices automatically, and since it is on the local network instead of being online, items can be accessed quicker than from cloud storage. Originally $150, the Lima is on sale at $89 for five days, with free shipping.

...the lima concept seems compelling, however there seem to be critics...?
