Anyone got any idea why that is happening? This is on a Powerbook 12'', 1ghz, 768mb ram, 100gb harddrive with Tiger 10.4.4. Got the iScroll2 hack installed on it, but it didnt start happening untill after the 10.4.4 update. Doesnt really bother me, but im just wondering what its all about.

Turn off VoiceOver in the Universal Access preferences.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

quark user?

one of the quark key commands sets this off.
command F5 i think.

go to sys prefs, keyboard & mouse, and change the key commands for voiceover,
so it doesnt happen again!

I dont use Quark, dont even know what it is. The only thing i use with the voice stuff is where it will read what ever i highlight, and that is cmd-ctrl-t. Its gone now, so im not worried, wasnt really worried to begin with, just figured id try to find out what caused it.
