I have a MacBook Pro 17" 2.16ghz. I want to change my 120 GB drive with my new 250GB.
But when I put my 250gb in my Mac, boot from DVD and try to format it, disk ut says "rescource busy", so it wont be done.
But when I put my new drive in an external USB cabinet, it lets itself format...
I have even put it in a PC an formatted it there, with no problems.
I have run all kind of test on it (Disk Warrior...) but it finds no error on it.

I have installed 10.5 on it while in an external cabinet, and tried to put it in my MBP afterwards with no success, it just cant find the system, while it boots perfectly in an external cabinet.

I see myself as no dummy, since Ive changed HDs in Mac at least a 100 times, but Ive never experienced this.

BTW-My old HD formats perfectly internally in my MBP.

Can anybody help me?
