I have a brand new installation of XP Home. Was able to do all the Windows updates up to SP3. Now I have no internet connection in XP.
Have tried toggling the Shared versus Bridged mode in the Parallels settings to no avail.
Anybody have a clue how to solve this issue?
Thanks!

OK...really feeling stupid now...
The one thing I never tried was just re-running the Parallels Tools installer. Ran it and now it is all good.
Now I can go get some viruses!

Not to rub it in, but they sort of remind you to do that when you change builds or upgrade...
And you're going to use ClamAV or something similar, right? I would hate to have to help you recover from one of those viruses you're looking for.

For the Windows side, I've found the free AVG one seems to work well in Parallels. I'd used Avast for a long time, but i got annoyed with the poor UI and constant requirements to go get a new license.
