i was wondering if i would be able to hook up my soon-to-be-purchased 12" PB to my video projector at the pj's native resolution of 1280 x 720.

also my projector has both VGA and DVI inputs. would the PB output either?

The 12" PB will output to VGA, but not DVI.

I'm not sure about what specific resolutions it outputs at, though I know it can output up to 1600 x 1200, and that it can output to my Sony's native 1280 x 1024 resolution.
Lysdexics have more fnu.

I am currently using my PB to output at 1280x960 but the refresh rate is only 60 Hz, which I find to be rather annoying. I don't know how high it can go but my monitor supports up to1280x1024, which the PB seems to be able to support.

The Hz is partly what your monitor is expecting when the powerbook and monitor try and sync to each other. I have options for 70 and 75hz at that res.
