I am saving up for a Powerbook G4, and it already has Tiger in it and I have the discs for Panther and I was wondering if you could install Panther. I ask this because of all the people saying Tiger stinks, because if I order the Powerbook and Tiger does stink then I will litterally .

1 - your thread is somewhat less than coherent

2 - bumping after less than 10 minutes is a bit obnoxious

You could, but unless something important (see: you make money with) is broken, there's no reason to do so.

People also said Panther sucked. People will say Leopard sucks. If you have a problem, fix it. Don't worry about problems you ain't got.

And yes, of course you can wipe it and install Panther. They haven't updated the PowerBook line since Panther was current.
