I'm very new to Carbon programming, as in I have never used the API before (not new to Cocoa or C though). I am trying to use the 'SetupAIFFHeader' function (within a Cocoa app) described here. Everthing goes well (no errors or wanrings) until linking and I get this error:

ld: /Users/wmoore/Documents/src/AMRPlayer/build/AMRPlayer.build/AMRPlayer.build/Objects-normal/ppc/AudioConverter.o illegal reference to symbol: _SetupAIFFHeader defined in indirectly referenced dynamic library /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/CarbonSound.framework/Versions/A/CarbonSound

I am including <Carbon/Carbon.h> which is supposed to be where Sound.h now resides. Any ideas?

Solved it, had to add the Carbon and QuickTime frameworks to the project.

And if you're compiling from the command line, you have to use the -framework flag to link in the relevant frameworks.
