I work with audio a lot, ProTools. Now i'm fairly new to the macintosh structure and I am wanting to change all .mp3's and .wav files to open with iTunes instead of ProTools as a default. how do I do this?

Control-click or right-click on an .mp3 or .wave file and choose Get Info. It will open an information window. Got to the bottom where it says "Open with...", and there will be an option to open that format with program you choose, like iTunes.
