I got bored this afternoon and decided to void my warranty and try to give my iBook a golden apple.
Here's the result...

If I knew the best way to strip the paint that's on the inside of the shell, I'd paint mine in a second .

I couldn't get to your link BTW.

No need to strip paint. The white Apple is just a sheet of plastic that diffuses the light coming from the back of the screen. I took the lid off, cut the sheet of plastic out and taped a piece of vellum to the inside of the clear apple window.

I couldn't get to your link BTW.

I changed my wife's Apple blue (that sounds a little odd...)

Oh, and of course I changed an entire powerbook and ibook blue too.
