It's so good you should leave room for it.

I'm not really a game player (despite working for a games company), not since the old Amiga days anyway, but here's my(out-dated)list of best games evar!!!
1. Knight Lore (Spectrum version).
2. The Guild of Thieves (Amiga version)
3. Jetpac (spectrum)
And for you GTA lovers, we're just about finished on the new one, so not long till it's out.

Definitely, there's been an absolute ton of work gone into it. The last few months have been non-stop work too as it gets to near the finish, pretty hectic.

1. Final Fantasy 6
2. Super Smash Brothers Melee
3. Metal Gear Solid 2
And yes, I have played ICO, and while it was a great game, it's not the kind of game I could play over and over again. It was good, but not one of the best games I have ever played, in my opinion.

If it was multi-player.... OMG.... do you realize how many you would sell? It dosen't have to be MANY people, just AT LEAST 2. AT LEAST. Over broadband, not like that CRAP that bungie pulled and got rid of co-op for the computer versions of Halo, that was EXTREMELY lame. Seriously though, if this game isn't multi-player, I'm going to be really really sad.

2. Metal Gear Solid 2 and

Whoa! Another Space Harrier nut.
I searched and searched until I found the stand-up arcade version in good condition (it sits in the corner of my workshop), picked it up for $200... I still play it on occassion, it was one hell of a game for it's time.

It's sooooooooo tempting to shout about what it's in it, but I'd be hunted down like a dog if I did.

I came in as a cut-scenes director. Basically manage the cut animations (choreograph, animate, model, texture, and work on shooting the actors). Also model characters, texture them, animate, etc. for the actual game characters and scenerios. Then there's the coders, friggin tons of them, and we work all just work together making sure everthing ties in nicely.
Pretty hard going work, especially at the end of this project, best fun ever though.

For San Andreas? It's way too late to be able to do anything major to it now, it's released in a couple of months and what the game was going to consist of, was locked down a long time ago.
you could e-mail the office in NY with suggestions you'd like to see in future games though.

I've always been rather miffed by people putting the onus of blame on games, have done for years. There's just too many factors to take into consideration when it comes to a person actually murdering someone; to the point that I don't feel we can point to one single external influence and say it caused it.
Can't really say much more than that, but I do have strong personal feelings on this topic, which I'd love to go into here, but shouldn't really.
Manhunt though, I like it for what it is, didn't work on it though since I joined just before it was released.

I know what you mean, and agree in essence. Rockstar does tend to make some pretty violent games though...
It's quite ironic that the british press has been all for the banning of the game, which has resulted in huge publicity for it, which in turn has led to a surge in games sales for Manhunt.
I own a Cube personally - so can't comment on the game, but it does seem pretty violent and agressive to me...

That's what happens. Soon as people cry out about censorship, it leads to a jump in sales for the item, curiosity.
It's a hard game to take to, and definitely brings out strong feelings in people, most either love it, or hate it. But that's just the nature f games I guess, some companie are known to produce certain types of games in which they appeal to various players.
