My TV has developed a green tint in one corner...I think I had an unsheilded speaker too close to it at my last place.

Anything I can do? I don't want to replace it if I can avoid it. TIA.

Last time I took a tv to a repair shop, the quote I received was double a new tv set.

They told me buying a new one is more often cheaper, and easier.

Sounds like the throw away world we live in...
I tried to sig-spam the forums.

Does your TV have a degausser? I had that happen on a Sony TV - but I think it degausses every time I turn it on, because it fixed after I turned it off and on.
