I've been trying to work out how to make more fonts available in X11 and more specifically The Gimp. I have searched the forums and Google but can't seem to get a decent answer. The closest I came was this thread but after installing freetype and editing the XFree86 config file it doesn't work. Apparently Apple's X11 doesn't use the /etc/X11/XF86Config file. Anyone got any ideas?
