I have 2 itunes libs, one is lossless, the other 256aac for my ipod and is a copy that I have to manually keep in line with the primary AL lib. Id love a solution to just tell it to re-encode as it syncs to whatever format I want. Any solution for this yet?

iTunes can do it, but will only do it for the shuffle... maybe you can hack some plist to fool iTunes into thinking all iPods are shuffles.

oh hey, thats cool it does it for the shuffle, I did not know that. That gives me a little hope at least. But I guess 7.7 does not do it (not that I have seen yet)
