well, it's about that time. yep, time to get an iBook. gotta fund it somehow! here're the specs on my cube:
450 MHz G4
64 MB PC100 RAM
20.0 GB ATA66 hard drive
56k modem
10/100 ethernet
2 USB ports
2 Firewire ports
ATI Rage 128 Pro video card
Apple Pro Keyboard
Apple Pro Mouse
Apple Pro Speakers
original cd's
Mac OS 9.2.1 and/or OSX 10.2 installed (your choice)

optional add-ons (i will install them):
512 MB RAM (CL2-2-2), $60
Apple GeForce 2MX, $150

+about a year and a half of a transferable 3-year CompUSA warranty.

it runs GREAT, and i wish i didn't have to get rid of it, but that's the way the money flows.

asking $1000, plus shipping (in the original box).

feel free to make offers. the price isn't set in stone.

((if this looks familiar, it's because i tried about a month ago but the deal didn't go through))

$1000 is way too much.

I am looking to buy a G4 Cube for $400, with the very basics:

450 MHz G4
64 Mb Ram
DVD-Rom
20 or lower Hard Drive
NO Keyboard/Mouse
Power Supply
NO Speakers

A $400 Cube? You people are really looking hard for a deal. It's worth more.

Worry not, appeasement-loving infidels! Chirac & Schrder defend the Butcher of Baghdad.

Ya I guess I am pressing my luck, but take out the mouse, keyboard, speakers, most of the ram, and I may be able to find one for that price.

Yes, $1000 is very optimistic, but I'm taking offers :c) And yes, I realize that prices have gone down since I originally put the Cube up for sale.. so I'll take that into account.

Also, I'll clarify about the CompUSA warranty - it cost $300 for 3 years, so that adds about $150 to the value. While I don't like CompUSA much, this is actually a good warranty because they work directly with Apple (they promptly replaced the Cube's mouse once when it wouldn't stop clicking).

I'm glad people are making offers - I'll try to send out some e-mails to those who show/have shown interest.
