We just bought a Santoku knife (Shun) and it came with a funny little CD about half the diameter of a normal CD and cut off on two sides, making it sort of oblong. I'm reluctant to shove it in my 24" iMac as you might imagine. I did put it in my DVD player hooked up to my TV since it has a horizontal tray and it recognized it as a CD, but it didn't play.

Any ideas?

Gotta find a computer with a tray-loading CD drive. Do not put it in any slot-loading drive (With the exception of the one on the Wii) because it will get stuck.

They're cut off on the sides so they're the same size as a business card. Dunno why they'd pack them in with a knife.

Yeah, like he said, you need a computer with a tray loading drive. Theres an inner circle that's actually exactly the same size as discs like that, and you can just place it on, and close the tray.

It's probably a product catalog for the company.

I recently bought some lighting equipment and it came with a CD of the company's catalog.
