Inquiring for a friend who has a 6400 with GeoPort. He's also got an AOL account.

Currently,he's running on 7.5.1 (he says) ..

Will installing OS9 give him support for his GeoPort?

He would like to keep his AOL account, but switch to Netscape with Flash plugin... apparently AOL's browser doesn't really support FLASH.

I'm not sure if 9.0 has the geoport software included, but I have 8.5, and it doesn't include it. If it doesn't include it, it's still very easy to use your geoport software. Just copy the Express Modem control panel to your new control panels folder and use the free Geoport and EM 3.1 updater from Apple. It will install everything needed to use your modem. Of course you could use Netscape with Flash. Just open your connection and launch Netscape.
