My parents got a microwave that was packaged with an AM/FM radio/iPod dock thingy on it. I really have no use for another radio and all of my music can be played through much better speakers than that 5 watt POS, but I could use the dock connector out of it for something. I pulled it apart and got the dock connector out. Four wires connect it to the main board of the radio.
-Black
-Red
-Gray which splits at each end into -Black and -White
The board lists them as
1st black = G
Red = V+
White = IP
2nd black = G
Is this a standard USB pinout? Can I just take a USB extension cable and wire it in there? I would like to make my own straight USB dock if that's possible.
