I'm selling my MBP and I was wondering if I could get some opinions on the market value of the computer. I've been monitoring ebay for a couple of weeks and I've found the prices to be in the neighborhood of 1,000 to 1,500 (more on some crazy auctions).

Here's what I have 2007 MBP, 4 Gig of ram an upgraded 320Gig (5400rpm) hard drive
Original box, system disks,
Retail version of Leopard
iLife 08
Unactivated copy of Vista home premium
AppleCare through 2010

I may also throw in a Tom Bihn Brain Cell case (a 60 dollar value)

Because of the software (discs included) I was thinking of asking 1,500. Is that too low? Too high? Just right?

You didn't mention the operating frequency (GHz).

£1500 is way too much... perhaps €985.07 would be good... or maybe ¥125,435.34?
2.8 Ghz Unibody MacBook Pro 15" - 4GB Ram - Logic Pro 8.0
2.33 Ghz C2D MacBook Pro 15" - 3GB Ram - Logic Pro 7.2
1.5 Ghz G4 PowerBook 12" - 1.25GB Ram

I'm going to place a craigslist ad monday and I'd like to know that $1,500 isn't too low, high or is just right.
