There must be a way to keep quicktime player from automatically opening urls in safari but I can't find it.

I must be missing the 'don't trigger urls' setting.

What I've found is that some videos have a 'flash' or url track - deleting it can solve the problem for some of those files.
And it won't obey the 'play automatically' settings some movies start playing on their own.
I guess I'll try that other player.

Damn, even the preview triggers urls.
