BRESINKx86Monitoring is from the applications Hardware Monitor, Temperature Monitor or similar from here. Probably you had one of them installed at one point, and now it won't work because the rest of the application is not there.

EyeConnect you know. The others I have not heard of, but probably they're the same thing - pieces of third-party applications.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

would it be possible to delete them? the folder is locked, so I would have to carefully unlock it somehow

Ive had a bit of trouble w this in a very bad way recently on the Boot drive,

I have to manually say OK each time the computer boots which precludes say EyeTV from

starting the computer while Im not here to record TV

What happens if you just delete them from the login items pane in System Prefs?

In System Preferences, open the Users panel and click on the "Login Items" header.

If that doesn't work:

Delete each item one by one from the folder, and when it asks you to authenticate, do so.

I have things like logitech control center etc.

I did find the panel sys/pref on log in and dechecled the eyetv and a few other older stuff

I deleted the 4 items mentioned above shut down then got this:

"allow 'wakein' to make changes" I needed to authenticate this.

the second time I shut down this 'wake in' authentication was still on the screen but the computer shut down anyay.

you cant imagine how greatfull I am for all the help ive gotten to get this computer backup and running from eveybody here !

Wakein is part of EyeTV. Have you reinstalled it already?
