I put Tiger on my Mac Mini yesterday, and it is super fast! All my old Apps stayed on it, all my Documents, and everything! Its great, especially Spotlight and Dashboard. I gotta say this is great for Apple! No bugs to report! I will if i do! A+ Apple!
Apparently, I'm a sig violator. I feel honored. Oops.

Working fine for me... dual 1GHz MDD G4, 1.25GB RAM - I did an "archive and install" with keep network settings checked. Same as I did when going from Jag to Panther. Took 20 mintues for Spotlight to index the data on my internal drive and about 40 mins to index my external Firewire drive.

I like Tiger, but I've already filed 21 bug reports with Apple. (seriously)

I got my Up-To-Date Tiger in the mail, and before doing anything interesting with it, i downloaded 10.4.1 and everything seems to be running smoothly

I have it installed on my PB17 and my mini and no problems whatsoever. Almost 26 days of uptime before a restart due to 10.4.1 and 5 and half days uptime since. All is cake.

After I installed 10.4.1, I haven't had any freezes or KP's - as I had several before that. I've had 4+ days of uptime now.

Yeah, 10.4 is a little buggy in some areas (and most are minor bugs at that), but what can you expect from a .0 - .1 release. A net improvement over 10.3.

Agreed. I've been testing it out on my laptop before doing my G5 and I've been happy with the results so far. If I can scrape out the time, I'll be upgrading this weekend.

the only things i'm bugged about are:
itunes crashes on the first try after sleeping (after about 3-4 days uptime)
to put the computer to sleep takes about 20 seconds when it used to be instantaneous.

amazingly, that's it.

Here's most of my current bug-list at Apple:

• "File pathname" criterion doesn't work with Smart Folders.
• Smart Folders cannot combine criteria with "or" logic
• Dashboard always crashes after installing a new widget.
• OS X cannot connect to Windows shares typed in all caps
• Blurred Jpeg rendering in Safari and Preview
• Ogg Vorbis component crashes iTunes with Quicktime
• Tiger requires keyboard setup with every login or user switch
• Smart Folders are very slow
• Tiger occasionally displays incorrect or broken icons, particularly in Dock folders.
• Spotlight does not return results for indexed firewire drive (happened once)
• Tiger ignores AAT tables in fonts with both AAT and OT data.
• Safari occasionally will not load local html pages.
• Tiger unmounts drives when switching users
• SMB shares cannot be refreshed without unmounting the network directory.
• Copying text sometimes stalls an application for 30 seconds or more
• iMac G4 is louder and makes odd sounds under Tiger
• Switching to applications sometimes gives "spinning beachball" cursor

I'm waiting to install the 10.4.1 patch before I submit more. I know at least one or two of these have been fixed, and there's been activity on several of them (like the Jpeg rendering bug).
