Hey everyone, I'm sure a lot of you have heard about this already, but it can't hurt to spread the word. Google is once again doing their annual Summer of Code, and this time there's an OSX project on the list (Adium); so if you'd like to get paid for contributing to a fun open source software project, you've got until 8PM PST on Monday to get an application in.

It's a little late now, but wxWidgets is also on the list. This is a cross platform API, similar to (but far better than) Qt. A few familiar names that use it: VLC, AOL, AMD, NASA, Xerox... just to name a few.
